About

A practical reference for car owners

Autonelio helps everyday drivers keep their cars reliable, safe, understandable, and economical. We focus on the decisions an owner makes before, during, and after maintenance and repair — not on car news, launches, or thin specification pages.

What we help with

Autonelio is built to help you:

  • Understand what your vehicle needs and why.
  • Recognise symptoms and judge urgency conservatively.
  • Understand what a workshop is proposing.
  • Make better maintenance, repair, and ownership-cost decisions.
  • Keep a useful record of what happened and what should happen next.

Where we start

Our starting focus is owners of roughly five-to-twenty-year-old passenger cars, with particular first-hand strength in Nordic operating conditions — cold starts, short journeys, road salt, corrosion, winter tyres, and seasonal maintenance. Many principles travel internationally even when regulations and prices do not, so we label country-specific advice clearly and use metric units first.

How we work

Automotive advice can affect safety and money, so trust is our primary publishing constraint. We separate observation from diagnosis, legal minimums from prudent maintenance, and we say when a job is outside the owner-safe boundary and needs a qualified professional.

Independence and revenue

Editorial conclusions are independent. Where we may earn from affiliate links or referrals, we say so clearly on the page. We never recommend a product solely because a programme pays commission.
